I published this article a few years ago when CBCT was relatively new in the field of endodontics. It gives a good overview of what CBCT is, how it works and when it can benefit diagnosis in endodontics.
Despite the fact that the systems have advanced since the publication of this paper, the basics are still the same. The majority of the original papers in the field have been referenced here.
